Sessions with Safe Opportunities

Year 9 students are completing a 4 week block of sessions led by, Helen Pullan from Safe opportunities. The focus of work is all about post 16 options.

There have been lots of lively discussions about college, apprenticeships, working abroad, gap years etc.

There has also been an excellent response from the students for example, one gave a really good description of volunteering, and another shared a very clear account of his plans beyond school and his focus to prepare for work experience. One student gave a really good account of the safety that would need to be considered if working in a kitchen.

This week students covered the topic of , keeping fit and healthy and positive attitudes to prepare for work.
