Opening hours

School opens for pupils at 8:40am. The formal school day ends at 3:00pm, when pupils are dismissed from their tutor bases. This totals 31 hours, 40 minutes and includes, breaks and assemblies. There are 2 registration periods, morning and afternoon. During the taught day there are 4 lessons, with a break after Lesson 1 and Lunch after Lesson 2. From Year 8- 11 pupils have the opportunity to access Residential provision 1 night per week. The vast majority of pupils travel by taxi from across Cheshire West and Chester and neighbouring authorities.  Start and end of day traffic is very heavy as we share a campus with 2 other schools.  There are also 5 other schools in close proximity.  School closes for the day at 3.15pm.
